The South Shore was firing on all Cylinders Wednesday. Threes was pumping 4 to 5 feet with buttery offshore conditions. The waves were standing tall against the trades and holding open with more barrels on offer than the last big swell. It didn't last too long but it made up for it in quality.

Hit up the beach park yesterday on the rising South Swell. It was pumping. Shot Thees today and have a monster gallery uploading. Pictures from Threes should be up in the morning.

South shore has been lit up for 4 days straight. Been surfing and shooting Threes, but hearing stories of epic sessions from Sandys to Makaha and all spots in between. Threes has been solid 4 feet with the odd 5 footers.

Took some pics at Kaisers yesterday (Sunday) from 1100am to 1230pm. It was kind of slow in the beginning, coming off the super low tide, but started to turn on later. Shoulder to head high, offshoe trades, and crystal clear water. Barrels required some minor contortion skills.

I was stoked to get back to the North Shore and get another session in before things shut down for the summer. A few friends were out at Rockies and I had my toes in the water ready to paddle out. It wasn't exactly stellar looking (although Flynn was making it look really good for Back Flips). I backtracked to the car and went to Plan B.

Kerr Getting Kegged at Kirra

Josh Kerr in an absurdly long Kirra drainpipe. This is from the day after the contest finished. The last day of the contest was epic. I thought Slater was toast in the semifinal before he dialed up a perfect 10 with a few minutes left on the clock. Then in the final, Slater using priority and burning Parko on a likely heat winner followed by Parko flipping Slater the bird was classic.

I hit up Sandys on Sunday morning from 10am to 1130am. Waves were 3 feet on the sets and some of them were detonating pretty good.
